Lyla Kuchenbecker - A Young Musician

Had a great time with this beautiful young artist! Lyla, you are an amazing young lady!!!

Lyla started learning violin in kindergarten and has taken private lessons since first grade. She is currently a member of the University of Southern Maine’s Portland Young People’s String Consort and has performed at numerous public and private events.

In 5^th grade she started learning the alto saxophone and plays in her school’s concert and jazz bands. This year as a 7^th grader, she joined her high school’s gold medal winning marching band.

She is also a member of her school’s basketball, track and civil rights teams. When she isn’t performing, at practice or hanging with friends she can be found listening to music and signing around the house.
